“Traditions & Modernity” was the theme of the 2014’s edition”
Thailand (and Asia in general) has a long and rich history, traditions and culture. A city like Bangkok is a concrete example that traditions and modernity can cohabit in harmony. Creativity and innovation should not be a constant quest to discover new valuable things ignoring or forgetting the past. Traditions carry a lot of value, uniqueness and lessons learned that can be the source of novel ideas, products or processes. For the 1st edition of Creative Bangkok, we asked speakers to use this theme as a guideline for their talk and we organized a set of activities around this theme.
